Mission Viejo High School quarterback Alex Bridgefordaccepted an honor on behalf of the school’s entire athletics department at a luncheon Tuesday in honor of National Philanthropy Day.
The school’s student athletes raised over $17,000 and volunteered over 800 hours to the cause of pediatric cancer.
