Several Irvine-based charitable organizations will be honored at the 28^t^hannual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon in November.

Produced by the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, National Philanthropy Day Orange County has become the most prominent philanthropic recognition event in Orange County, with over 1000 honorees since its inception in 1986.

WHAT’S THE FUTURE OF PHILANTHROPY IN ORANGE COUNTY? IT’S HERE TO STAY. YOU COULD EVEN SAY IT’S “HERE FOR GOOD”. NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY DAY IS A CELEBRATION OF THE STAYING POWER AND EVEN CONTINUED GROWTH OF CHARITABLE AND PHILANTHROPIC FORCES IN OUR COMMUNITY. OUR HOPE IS THAT, THROUGH THE EXAMPLE OF THIS YEAR’S HONOREES, EVEN MORE HEARTS ARE INSPIRED TO JOIN IN THE CHORUS PROCLAIMING THAT PHILANTHROPY IS “HERE FOR GOOD!”.
