The Mission Viejo High School Athletic Department will be honored as Outstanding Youth Group at this year’s National Philanthropy Day Orange County celebration on Nov. 15.
Emotionally touched by the story of an all-star high school quarterback and his disabled classmate facing severe mental and physical disabilities after surviving pediatric cancer, the school’s football players decided to help their peers who have been affected by pediatric cancer.
