About 750 people attended the 23rd annual National Philanthropy Day awards luncheon last week, netting $40,000 for the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, which will use the money to advance philanthropy.
Alan Greeley, chef at Golden Truffle restaurant and catering in Costa Mesa, was one of eight Outstanding Honorees, chosen from more than 130 volunteers, donors and business people nominated for recognition.
